"Black Gold"

Sorry for the reserve, it took me days to make this one with expensive notions.  ($275)

Fabric:  Black rustly lightweight taffeta/nylon, (I'll call it taffeta) and sheer netting/tulle type fabric with gold bell design. 

Full circle skirt fits a full petticoat, shown here on 100-yard crystalline one.  Bottom tier is taffeta with white and gold flat lace trim on hem, attached with gold ric-rac.

Upper ruffle is serged & roll hemmed along the top edge, with gold & white flat lace on the hem.  It is attached with a double ruffled gold & white lace as well as gold ric-rac.

At BOTH SIDES, it sweeps up for a peek-a-boo effect to show off yards of gold lamé ruffled lace.  The peak of the peek-a-boo section is decorated with a special bow, made with black and gold ribbons sewn onto white, with a white and black heart-shaped pony bead on the ends.

Slightly darted bodice is made from the taffeta and has the white & told sheer fabric forming a mock bib, with ruffles made of same going from center front to center back.   These ruffles are finished with gold & white flat lace on both edges, and attached with double ruffled gold & white lace and gold ric-rac trim.

Classic Peter Pan collar is made of the taffeta-like fabric and has gold ruffled lamé lace trim.

Classic UniKaren sleeves show off a triangular gold & white overlay, embellished with double ruffled lace and a black ribbon at the point.  Pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish, elasticized, with a flat gold & white lace on the hem. 

Apron is separate, made of the white & sheer mesh fabric, with the double ruffled lace over the ruffle, and a bow at each side made from gold and black ribbons.

Outrageous bloomers have gold lamé ruffled lace across the behind, and the ribbons at the side seams are made with black ribbon sewn onto white ribbon.

Peek-a-boo on BOTH sides of skirt.

Apron is separate.
