About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 40 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

Fabric: Bridal white satin, lightweight red satin, polyester navy blue Underskirt is made of red satin, with a white satin bottom tier trimmed with narrow flat lace along the top edge, and wider flat lace along the hem, attached with a ruffled white lace. Above the bottom tier is a row of red satin ruffles, trimmed with narrow flat lace along the top and bottom edges, also attached with ruffled white lace. The overskirt consists of 7 panels, finished with ruffles from the same, with white trim on the top and bottom edges. At the intersection of the seams, there is a little red bow. The bodice is made of bridal satin for sturdiness. It has a navy bib attached to the front, with wide navy ruffles trimmed in white lace going from center front over the shoulders to the back. They are attached with ruffled white lace. The front bib has an intricate embroidered design of the American flag in the shape of a butterfly. The Peter Pan collar is made of two layers of bridal satin, with ruffled lace sandwiched between them. The finishing is a self binding, with a white satin ribbon bow at the center front. Full pouffy sleeves are hand pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish and elasticized for a comfortable fit. In keeping with the red and white striped theme of the flag, a red strip of fabric is sewn to the sleeve, through which the arm elastic is passed through. White flat lace finishes the hem. On the left sleeve is an embroidered heart in the design of the American flag. Center back zipper is a LOCKING zipper, with two keys that lock the slider in place. The neckline is finished with a hook & eye closure to help keep it closed when zipped up. Matching bloomers have three rows of ruffles across the back, alternating rows of white and red fabric to complete the them of the American flag. They are elasticized at the waist and leg openings for a comfortable fit. The hems are finished with white lace. A red bow embellishes each side seam near the leg opening. Center back has an elastic loop to attach bloomers to the same hanger as the dress. Two matching hair bows on barrettes complete the ensemble. They are made of the navy fabric with a white satin knot and little red button. They are attached to barrettes.
