About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 47 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

Fabric: 100% cotton white eyelet Full skirt is 135" around. Shown here without a petticoat. Bottom tier is made of same fabric, with narrow flat lace along the top edge and flat white lace on the hem. It is attached with a wide ruffled white lace. The ruffle above the bottom tier is made and attached the same way. The bodice is very short to simulate a toddler dress. Ruffles go from center front to center back, and are attached with a double ruffled satin over nylon lace. The Peter Pan collar is made has double ruffled lace sandwiched between the two layers. The finishing is a self binding made from the eyelet. Full pouffy sleeves are hand pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish and elasticized for a comfortable fit. Wide white flat lace finishes the hem. Matching bonnet is lined with the same fabric as the outer bonnet. It consists of an interfaced band with a wide interfaced crown, with a stand-up fabric ruffle and the double ruffled lace in front of it. The back has the curvature of a baby bonnet, with elastic at the bottom edge. It has two short ties stemming from the sides to tie under the chin. One size fits all.
