About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 33 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

Fabric: Gorgeous lightweight shimmery super soft red satin. These photos are taken with a cell camera, since my digital camera does not capture red well. Skirt fits a full petti, shown here on 100-yard crystalline one (not included). Gored skirt falls in a beautiful circle, with a bottom tier trimmed in white lace with gold scalloped edge. Ruffles are made with the flat white & gold trim along the bottom edge, and white flat lace along the top edge. The upper ruffle goes all the way around and sweeps up to the center back, and between the sweeps are yards and yards more ruffles to fill in the back. This UniKaren's trademark "Rufflebutt" design. Darted fitted bodice features a lot of ruffled lace down the center front to imitate a tuxedo style (butler) outfit. It has flat decorative lace which features gold inlays down the center, and along each side of this lace are two more ruffled laces, a 3" wide one and a 1" one. These are stitched in place individually, then a heart-shaped embroidery stitch with gold thread (looks yellow) attaches the layers firmly together. Stand-up collar features the decorative flat lace trim with gold through the design. It has ribbon loops at the back through which a locking mechanism can be inserted. Full pouffy sleeves are elasticized for upper arm comfort, hemmed in white & gold flat lace. Vertical rows of gold and white laces embellish the sleeve. Pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish.	Bloomers fit a 36-42" waist, with extra long inseams so that they will show if you bend over. The backside of the bloomers feature one layer of fabric ruffles attached with wide ruffled lace.	MEASUREMENTS Chest: 46" Waist: up to 40" Shoulder to waist: 18.5 Waist to hem: 21" Total Shoulder to Hem: 39.5" Shoulder to shoulder across the back: 18" ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ REMEMBER THIS !! You can always wear a dress that is too large, but you cannot wear one that is too small. Check measurements, please! If you have questions, just ask.
