Patriotic 35-36" doll dress is made from light-weight navy blue polyester, red satin, and white 100% cotton eyelet.
The bodice is made from white eleyet. The bib and ruffles create a mock pinafore, and features an elaborate embroidered design across the bib, of an American flag in a butterfly pattern. The ruffles go from front to center back over the shoulders. Ruffles feature a narrow white lace trim along both edges. They are attached with narrow white ruffled lace.
Round neckline features slightly gathered white lace, finished with a self-bias from the eyelet fabric.
Puffy eyelet sleeves are elasticized and one sleeve features a different embroidery design, of an American flag in the shape of a heart. Hemmed with narrow white flat lace. Pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish. Little white ribbon bows adorn the sides of the sleeves.
Skirt is full enough to fit over a petticoat (not included). It is an 8-gore circle skirt made from white lining, with a bottom tier made from white eyelet, finished with a 1" flat white lace. The next row of ruffles is made from red satin, with white lace trim. At the center back, the ruffle overlaps and is kept closed with a single snap; this is to allow the zipper to go down as far as possible. There is an overlay in navy blue, made from 7 panels, with a ruffle of the same fabric, trimmed in white lace. At the each seam there is a little red ribbon bow.
Navy sashes tie into a long bow at the back. Center back zipper, with hook & eye closure at the top.
Matching bloomers are made from the red satin. Elasticized waistband and leg openings. Hems trimmed in wide white lace. Little white bows adorn the side seams. The label and an elastic loop sit at the center back, so you can attach the bloomers to the same hanger as the dress.
All seams professionally finished. This dress is made with the same quality as if made for a little girl.
