About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 33 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

Fabric: Pink gingham Skirt fits a full petti, shown here on 17" 100-yard crystalline one (not included). Gored skirt falls in a beautiful circle, with a bottom tier made of gingham fabric, finished in 1/2" flat white lace. Upper ruffle is also made of gingham fabric, with narrow white lace along the top edge and the same 1/2" flat lace along the bottom edge. This ruffle sweeps up the back of the skirt to allow yards and yards of ruffles. Apron is separate. Two layers of gingham create the base, and matching ruffles adorn the apron. Sashes tie in the back and can be cinched to fit the dress comfortably. The bodice features more ruffles, going from front to center back, attached with ruffled white lace. Peter Pan collar is made of gingham, with white shantung fabric on the underside to give it stiffness. Between the layers are ruffled white lace. Full pouffy sleeves are elasticized for upper arm comfort. Pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish. They are finished with flat lace to match the ruffles of the outfit. Bloomers feature two rows of ruffles, trimmed with lace on both edges the same as the dress ruffles, and attached with the ruffled white lace. The legs and waistband are elasticized for a guaranteed fit, and for ease and comfort. The bonnet has the typical flat back of a child's bonnet, with a large crown. The front of the crown is embellished with the same ruffled lace as in the dress, as well as a larger fabric ruffle that peaks at the top. It is completely lined with white bridal satin, which is also interfaced, to give the bonnet sturdiness. Extra long sashes create a beautiful large bow under the chin and fall over the center of the bodice. If you have questions, just ask.
