About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 33 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

Fabric: Burgundy satin and burgundy organdy with raised navy floral design Dress is made to fit a shapely figure and features a contrasted upper bosom area with sheer organdy. Full skirt fits a full petticoat, albeit short, at the customer's request. Satin base is made from nine gores of satin. All the ruffles are finished in the same manner, with a burgundy pico satin stitch along both edges. The bottom tier is attached with navy blue ric-rac trim to help bring out the navy of the floral design. The upper ruffle sweeps up in two places along the sides, and those lifts feature a little bow made of navy blue and burgundy ribbon. The ruffle then sweeps up to the center back and between the sweeps are yards and yards of ruffles. Separate apron is made of satin on the base and organdy overlaid, with organdy ruffles. Little burgundy bows decorate the waistband at the intersection of the ruffles. Ties into a lovely perky bow at the center back. Longer than average sleeves go to the elbow for more arm coverage. They feature an overlay in the organdy, attached with navy ric-rac trim. Little burgundy ribbon bows finish off the point of the overlay. Sleeves are pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish and are elasticized at the elbow for maximum comfort. Stand-up collar is made of satin on the base and organdy overlaid, with a hook and eye at the back to ensure closure. Center back zipper. All seams are serged and pressed for a professional finish.
