About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 40 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

All reasonable efforts are made to accurately display the attributes of the products, including the appropriate colors; however, the actual color you see will depend on your computer system and there is no guarantee that your computer will accurately display such colors. "French Organza Maid" by UniKaren Designs PHOTOS ARE COPYRIGHT TO UNIKARENDESIGNS. If you wish to use any photos of me modeling my dresses on your website, you MUST obtain permission. Fabric: Black satin, white satin, white shimmery organza, silver & white lace trim, and white nylon & satin trim. Skirt: Base skirt is made from black satin. Very full skirt will fit over a 100-yard crinoline, shown here (not included). Bottom tier is finished with 1" wide white lace and narrow silver lace along the top edge, and is attached with double ruffled ribon-over-nylon lace. Next ruffles is made the same way and is attached with ruffled white lace, goes all the way around and sweeps up to center back. Inside the sweeps are yards and yards of ruffled white shimmery organza, with edges finished in sparkly silver and white lace, attached with silver lace. Separate apron is made with organza over satin, finished with organza ruffles and attached with ribbon-over-nylon ruffled lace. Two white satin ribbon bows adorn the top of the apron. Extra long ties fall beyond the skirt hem, by design. Full darted (front and back) lined black satin bodice features a white organza contrast in the upper chest, with organza ruffles going around the front and onto the center back. attached with a double ruffled satin & nylon lace. On the inset, inside the organza contrast is this same ruffled lace, for a double ruffled effect on the front. Stand-up collar is made from satin and is trimmed with the double ruffled satin-over-nylon lace, as well as the silver and white lace. Hook and eye at the center back keeps the collar closed. Full poufy sleeves feature the classic UniKaren Designs organza overlay, with ruffled silver & white lace along the edge on the outside, and silver & white flat trim on the inside. A white ribbon satin bow embellishes the bottom of the point. They are pleated at the shoulder for a professional and even finish. The hems are finished with the wide white and silver lace. Black satin bloomers are fully lined. They feature three rows of sparkly white organza ruffles with silver lace trim. They are attached with silver & white lace. The back center feature a pinned-on organza bow. Hems are made with white & silver lace. Elasticized at the waist and leg openings for a comfortable fit. Satin bows embellish the side seams at the leg openings. There is a loop at the center back to hang on the same hanger as the dress. Skirt will fit over a 100-yard crinoline (not included).
