About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 40 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

Fabric: Purple satin Darted bodice features a split front, with an inset completely covered in lace. Side and front darts give this bodice a womanly shape, along with darts in the back. Wide ruffles made with narrow strips of satin and wide white lace decorate from front to back and are attached with double ruffled satin-over-nylon white lace. The inset and around the neckline are trimmed with the double ruffled lace as well. Full 8-gored skirt is hand pleated at the waist seam for a professional finish. Bottom tier features a ruffle made from a narrow strip of the satin, with narrow white and silver lace trimming the top edge, and wide floral scalloped lace on the hem. It is attached with double ruffled satin-over-nylon white lace. The upper ruffle goes around the skirt and sweeps up to the center back, and between the sweeps are yards and yards of ruffles. Skirt will fit over a 100-yard crinoline (not included). A separate apron is self lined, with an interfaced waistband, and has beautiful sashes that create a lovely bow over the center back rufflebutt. White satin ribbon bows adorn the center front of the apron. Full pouffy sleeves are hand pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish and elasticized at the upper arm for a comfortable fit. Hems are finished with wide floral scalloped white lace. Matching bloomers have three rows of ruffles across the back. They are elasticized at the waist and leg openings for a comfortable fit. The hems are finished with wide floral scalloped lace to go with the rest of the outfit. The center back of the bloomers features a ribbon, to use on the same hanger as the dress.
