About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 40 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

Fabric: Baby pink satin, contrasted with crystal organza. Full 8-gored skirt is hand pleated at the waist seam for a professional finish. Bottom tier features a ruffle made from the satin, with white lace trimming the hem. All the ruffles are made from white crystal organza, serged along both edges and finished with narrow white lace along the top edge and flat floral lace trim along them hem. The ruffle at the bottom is attached double ruffled white lace. The next ruffle is attached with ruffled white nylon lace, and sweeps up to the center back. Between the sweeps are yards and yards of organza ruffles. Bodice features an insert contrasted upper chest area, trimmed with white organza ruffles and is attached with double ruffled white nylon lace. Stand-up collar has lace trim, and is finished with ribbon loops at the back, through which a locking mechanism can be inserted. At the center back there are two more loops for a lock, which will be hidden by the bow created by the side sashes. The front of the skirt features an attached apron, with white ribbon bows accented at the wais. Skirt will fit over a 100-yard crinoline (not included). Full pouffy sleeves feature the classic UniKaren triangular overlay in the contrasting fabric, attached with the double ruffled lace, and show off a white satin ribbon at the bottom point. The sleeves are finished with white lace trim and are elasticized for upper arm comfort. They are pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish. Matching bloomers are elasticized at the waist and leg openings for a comfortable fit. The have a ribbon at the center back to hang the bloomers on the same hanger as the dress, and can be used to insert a chain if you want to attach the dress loops to the bloomers.
