About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 40 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

Fabric: White satin, white organza, white ribbon, white lace Bodice features an overlay through the center made from organza. Centered down the front is a beautiful purchased white applique. White satin ruffles trimmed in white lace edging finish the edges of the overlay and continue over the shoulder to center back. White satin bows adorn the center front of the waist seam at the ruffles. Peter Pan collar has double ruffled satin-over-nylon lace sandwiched between the layers and is attached with a bias strip made of the satin fabric. Full 8-gored skirt is hand pleated at the waist seam for a professional finish. Bottom tier features a ruffle made from the satin, with white lace trimming the top edge as well as the hem. It is attached with ruffled white lace. The next layer is a wide ruffled scallop-edged floral lace. Above the lace is another ruffle also made from the satin, with the same lace trim, and is also attached with ruffled white lace. Skirt will fit over a 100-yard crinoline (not included). White sashes stem from the side seams to create a perky bow over the center back. Full pouffy sleeves are hand pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish and elasticized at the upper arm for a comfortable fit. Hems are finished with floral white lace. The sleeves feature a classic triangular UniKaren Design overlay in organza and the edges of the overlay are finished with ruffled lace. A white satin ribbon bow embellishes the point of the overlay on each sleeve. Matching bloomers have two rows of white ruffled lace across the back. They are elasticized at the waist and leg openings for a comfortable fit. The hems are finished with wide floral scalloped lace. The center back of the bloomers features a ribbon, to use on the same hanger as the dress.
