"Almond Joy"

This gorgeous light tan BRIDAL SATIN fabric was designed  into a positively luscious dress, with the accent of two laces, one a crocheted lace in the identical color, and the other a gold & tan ruffled lace lace.

The full circle skirt is 10 gores, hand pleated at the waist.  The bottom tier has lace on the hem. The upper ruffle is satin-stitched along the top edge, finished with the same lace on the bottom, and is attached with a sparkling gold trim. The ruffles goes up to the center back, where it is met by a lovely bow created from the sashes stemming from the side seams.

As the feature of the skirt, the ruffle sweeps up at the left waist area and between the sweeps are yards and yards of gold & off-white ruffled lace.  At the top of the ruffled is a beautifully shaped bow with short ties.

The dartless bodice has a sweetheart neckline, and is decorated with off-white & gold lace from center front to center back, with a criss-cross design of gold trim down the center front. 

Sleeves are elasticized for upper arm comfort.  Hand pleated at the shoulder seam, they feature a decoration of the off-white & gold ruffled lace, attached with gold trim. A little gold bow is attached at the bottom point of the lace. The gold trim also outlines the sleeve edge.

Included is a hair bow to match.

Bridal satin is a bit heavy so this dress is best suited for a very full and firm petticoat/crinoline.

Center back zipper.
