About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 33 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

All outfits are designed and sewn by me. I take a great deal of pride in my workmanship. Seams professionally finished & pressed. Your satisfaction with the product is of the utmost importance to me. Fabric: Lightweight lavender taffeta, and organza. Description: Classic UniKaren Designs "rufflebutt" dress. Full circle skirt is made from taffeta, with attached bottom tier trimmed in white flat lace. Next layer is organdy ruffles, and the next layer of ruffle goes all the way around and sweeps up to center back. Between these two sweeps are yards and yards more ruffles. The bodice is split in order to have contrasting organdy in the upper chest area. Ruffles trim the seam where the sections meet. Organdy was pleated and pressed, and attached to the lower front bodice to create a cummerbund effect. Stand-up collar is covered in organdy, and has silver loops at the back, through which one could insert a locking mechanism. Sleeves hold their own due to the nature of the fabric, and have the triangular UniKaren organdy overlay is finished with more ruffles. Taffeta sashes stem from the side seams to create a bow over the center back ruffles. This dress was made especially for you. May you wear it in good health and good fun for many years.
