Fabric: Light weight bridal satin named "Pink Ice",
The full skirt is made from light pink satin. It is almost a full circle and will fit on a very full crinoline. Shown here on an older 150-yard crystalline petti (not included). The bottom tier is made from a soft and almost sheer white voile (pronounced 'vwall'), trimmed in white flat lace on the top and hem edges. The upper ruffle is made from the light pink satin and is finished with silver & white flat lace along the top and hem edges, and lends a sparkle to the outfit, difficult to depict in photos. It is attached with 2" ruffled white lace.
The contrasting fabric is white embroidered organza, with large white flowers and some silver sparkled sprinkled throughout. There are seven petals to create an overskirt, trimmed with the same ruffled lace as used in the upper ruffle. White satin ribbon bows accentuate the intersection of the bodice ruffled and the waist seam.
The bodice is made from the satin fabric, with a center overlay cut from the printed organza. Along the edges of the overlay are fabric ruffles made of same, going from center front to center back over the shoulders. Ruffles are attached with silver & white ruffled lace.
The sweetheart neckline is finished with ruffled double ruffled white satin-over-nylon lace sitting toward the inside of the chest in order to really stand out.
There is a small side dart in the bodice, and narrow darts up the bodice center to help give shape.
Pink satin sashes stem from the side seams and tie into a lovely feminine bow over the center back.
The full pink satin sleeves feature the classic UniKaren Designs triangular overlay, cut from the organza fabric, and finished with the 2" ruffle lace. Sleeves are pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish, and elasticized for upper arm comfort. They are finished with a white flat lace to match the bottom skirt ruffles.
Bloomers will bring this outfit together, with their five rows of the 2" ruffled lace overlapping across the back. The label and a small elastic loop are on the inside center back, so you can hang the bloomers with the dress. White satin bows adorn the side seams at the elastic. Elasticized at the waist and leg openings for comfort.
To complete the ensemble is a cute wrist cuff made from the organza for the cuff itself, with silver lace trim along both edges, with a large embroidered wired bow in the center, covered with a mini pink satin bow tied with a light pink organza ribbon. As well, there is a garter with a satin double white ribbon bow in the center.
