About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 33 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

"Monkey Business" by UniKaren Designs PHOTOS ARE COPYRIGHT TO UNIKARENDESIGNS. If you wish to use any photos of me modeling my dresses on your website, you MUST obtain permission. Fabric: 100% washable cotton border print, with red poly/cotton broadcloth contrast. True dark red, not orangey as photos show. Full skirt is made from the bottom half of a border print, pleated at the waist to create as much fullness as possible to fit over a full petticoat. Hem is covered in red flat lace and over that is stitched a scalloped lavender flat lace. Polka dotted fabric with floating balloons is on the other half of the fabric and is used for the rest of the outfit. Flat bodice is intended for cute "Little Girl" look. It features an overlay cut from the border print fabric, displaying dressed monkeys playing instruments. Fabric ruffles go from the top of the bib in front to the to of the bib in the back. They are trimmed with lavender flat lace and are attached with ruffled red lace. Full pouffy sleeves are pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish. Hems are trimmed in lavender lace and are adorned with a red satin ribbon at the sides. Peter Pan collar assists in achieving the Little Girl look to this cute dress. Red ruffled lace is sandwiched between the layers and the bias trim is made from the dotted part of the fabric. Red sashes stem from the side seams and tie into a perky bow over the center back zipper. Coordinating bloomers are made from red poly/cotton broadcloth and have little red bows on the sides. Elasticized for waist and upper leg comfort.
