About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been over 40 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

If you wish to use any photos of me modeling my dresses on your website, you MUST obtain permission.** Fabric: Super soft lightweight dark purple satin, with dark purple brush satin lining in bodice & bloomers The full skirt is 22" long and doesn't hang right on a 17" petti. The bottom tier is made from the satin, with a narrow flat lace along the top edge, and 1" flat lace along the hem. All the upper ruffle, butt ruffles and bloomer ruffles are made with a wide flat floral lace on the hem and narrow lace along the top edge. The bottom tier is attached with a 2" ruffled white nylon lace. The upper ruffle goes all the way around the skirt and sweeps up at the center back. Between the sweeps are rows and rows of wide-lace ruffles. The darted bodice has a sweetheart neckline, and is lined in a dark purple brush satin to help create sturdiness shape. Satin ruffles go from center front to center back. These ruffles are attached with 2" wide white nylon ruffled lace. Lined interior gives a beautiful finish. Apron is separate, self lined with satin, with sashes that tie into a lovely feminine bow over the center back ruffles. White grosgrain ribbon bows embellish the apron to intersect the bodice ruffles. The full sleeves are pleated at the shoulder for a professional finish, and fit into cuff with a wide elastic to slightly tighten if the cuff is a bit large. Elaborate bloomers are fully lined with purple brush satin. There are 3 rows of wide-lace ruffles across the back. Elasticized at the waist and leg openings for a comfortable fit. White grosgrain ribbon bows adorn the side seams. An elastic loop and the label are at the center back, to hang the bloomers with the dress if desired. The zipper is a locking zipper and comes with two keys. When zipped up, lock the slider in place. To unzip, you need to unlock the slider. Don't lose the keys, I will not replace them.
