About UniKaren Designs: Purchasing a UniKaren Design means you are getting an ORIGINAL outfit. Since I was a teenager, I have been designing and sewing square dance outfits... it's been 33 years now. To this day I still have hundreds of design ideas and I look forward to seeing them come to fruition, and hope that you will continue to enjoy what I create.

Privacy Policy: All items are discretely packaged. Tissue is folded into the outfit to prevent wrinkling as much as possible. Item is then wrapped in plastic before box packaging. A mailing label is placed on the inside parcel in the event the outside parcel is damaged. For items going outside of the country, please inform me as to what you want written on the declaration. I respect your need for discretion.

"Pretty Yellow" by UniKaren Designs PHOTOS ARE COPYRIGHT TO UNIKARENDESIGNS. If you wish to use any photos of me modeling my dresses on your website, you MUST obtain permission. Fabric: Poly-cotton yellow & white tiny checked gingham, 100% cotton white tone-on-tone. These photos were taken in the evening in poor lighting... the yellow looks lighter in daylight. Shapely bodice center front features an insert in contrasting fabric, with stitched-on yellow polka-dot ribbon in a criss-cross design. The entire neckline is trimmed in a narrow ruffled white lace. From center front to center back is a wide white fabric ruffle, trimmed with white flat lace along both edges, and attached with a white ruffled nylon lace. Yellow polka dot ribbon bows embellish the front of the dress where the bib meets the attached apron, to match the criss-cross trim of the bodice. Full 8-gored skirt is hand pleated at the waist seam for a professional finish. Bottom tier features a ruffle of gingham fabric, with white lace trim along the top edge and the hem. It is attached with ruffled white lace. Skirt will fit over a 100-yard crinoline (not included). Upper ruffle is made in the same manner and goes all the way around, sweeping up to the center back, where it is met by a huge white bow created from the sashes which stem from the side seams. Between the sweeps are rows and rows of ruffles finished and attached in the same manner. Full pouffy white sleeves feature a triangular overlay of gingham fabric, trimmed with ruffled white lace. A white satin bow finishes off the point of the triangle. Wide flat lace finishes the hems of the sleeves.
