We
don't dance much in the summer or in over-heated halls so I don't have a big
collection of sleeveless or lightweight outfits.

I used a pattern for a sailor type bodice for this dress, where the sleeves are part of the bodice. The white collar helps it look a bit nautical. Simple circle top tier, single layer at the bottom, trimmed in tiny red lace to bring out the red dots in the centers of the flowers. |

I used a pattern from the bridal section of a pattern book to make a cape-like shawl for this sleeveless lightweight floral dress. I put the zipper down the side seam so that the front and back could be designed without interruption and distraction from the cape. I got lots of compliments on this one. |
